Description
On the right side of the valley, among the gentle hills going up until Grotti, is the village of San Martino Agelli, a small group of houses, tight one to another, extending along an ancient path for Spoleto.
Further down the valley is the rural church of Saint Martin, of Romanesque origin. It shows a facade built with rows of regular blocks, a belfry, a simple interior and by side the parish house.
Recently, near the village has been opened the tunnel of Forca di Cerro, an important communication route between Valnerina and the rest of Umbria.
